We recognise that privacy is extremely important to our users. Privacy bugs are second in priority only to data integrity bugs.
You retain ownership of all data you enter or upload into Sparkle.
We do not share individual user data with third parties under any circumstances unless forced to do so by law.
We use a third-party analytics service to help us plan future work. No individual user data are passed to the analytics service.
We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Sparkle's database is backed up every 15 minutes to an off-site data centre. The backups are stored unencrypted in a private, authenticated account.
If you cancel your account we will delete your data from our system. We retain historical invoicing information for accounting purposes because we are required to do so by law.
If you spot a privacy leak, please report it discreetly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To do this, simply send us an email. We may charge you £10 to cover our administration costs in providing this information.
You can find detailed information about your rights under UK Data Protection legislation on the UK Information Commissioner's Office's website.
